Do I need a visa ?
Citizens of many countries may need visa to come to Germany. Please check out if you need a visa, apply timely to the fellowship, consider that visa issuing time is variable and may require a relatively long time. Once you officially apply to the program and the fees for the fellowship and accomodation have been transferred, we will issue you a letter of invitation to support your visa application.
Do I need to have previous experience in CMR before I join the program?
While previous experience is surely an asset, this is not a requirement by the program, which is designed to meet the demand of physicians with or without CMR experience.
I would like to combine the fellowship with a short holiday in Berlin, is it possible to stay with my partner in the hospital’s guesthouse?
Yes, this is generally possible but depends on availability so please make sure to reserve timely. For more details please contact the hospital’s guesthouse directly, make sure to mention that you plan to join the CMR fellowship.
